26 декабря 2008 года было возбуждено уголовное дело №198651 в отношении неустановленных лиц по признакам состава преступления, предусмотренного частью 1 статьи 282 УК РФ, разместивших в Интернете обращение Милли Меджлиса татарского народа о признании Декларации о государственном суверенитете Республики Татарстан от 30.08.90 г., подкрепленного итогами всенародного референдума по РТ в марте 1992 года. По предположениям сотрудников ФСБ и органов следствия такие действия этих неустановленных лиц направлены на возбуждение вражды по национальному признаку. Оказывается, согласно каким-то психологическим исследованиям обращение может повлечь за собой возбуждение национальной вражды и нетерпимости. В-третьих, основанием обращения Милли Меджлиса является озабоченность тотальным наступлением российского руководства на права и свободы татарского народа, которые, кстати, защищены и гарантированы Конституцией самой РФ. В этот черный список можно внести: запрещение пользоваться татарам латинским алфавитом, получать образование на родном языке, выбирать своего президента, ущемление свободы слова и вероисповедания, в том числе свободного обращения в любые международные правовые организации. Главным законным основанием обращения является признание РФ государственной независимости двух грузинских регионов: Абхазии и Южной Осетии. По утверждению президента РФ все это соответствует международным правовым нормам. Вновь возникает вопрос: чем хуже 7,5 млн. татарский народ, нежели 70 тыс. южноосетинский? Зачем двуличничать российскому руководству и не исполнить волю народа Татарстана, выраженного в референдуме, итогов которого, как и Декларацию о государственном суверенитете Республике Татарстан до сих пор никто не отменял. В-четвертых, международные пакты, подписанные Россией, устанавливают право народов на самоопределение и являются юридически обязывающими документами.Данное постановление о возбуждении уголовного дела, в связи с этим производство обысков в квартирах лидеров и активистов национального движения (лидера татарского народа, писательницы, кандидата исторических наук, члена исполкома Всемирного конгресса татар Фаузии Байрамовой, зам. председателя Милли Меджлиса Фаика Тазиева, председателя Союза татарской молодежи и редактора газеты «Чаллы яшьлэре» Дамира Шайхутдинова, активиста Зиннура Аглиуллина), а также офисах татарских национальных фондах «Нигез», «Историко-культурное наследие», общественно-политического движения «Милли йорт» татарского народа, и их допросы являются не уголовным, а политическим преследованием за борьбу за права и свободы татарского народа и направлено на окончательную ликвидацию национальных институтов гражданского общества. Обращаясь к Вам, мы требуем, чтобы незамедлительно прекратилась эта политическая вакханалия, и оставили в покое лидеров и активистов национального движения и татарские национальные организации.
